At Alupine, a patio cover including installation means: made to measure in our own factory in Veldhoven, delivered on the agreed day and installed by our own installation team. What the installation includes
First, we come to measure up. An installer checks the ground and the connection to the façade and records the final dimensions, so you know exactly what you are getting in advance. The structure is then made to those dimensions in Veldhoven. On installation day, we anchor the posts into your ground, assemble the frame, fit the glass or polycarbonate roof and finish everything watertight. We inspect the work together with you, clear away the packaging and confirm the guarantee in writing: ten years on the structure.
How much does a patio cover including installation cost?
The price consists of the self-assembly kit plus the installation. Our self-assembly kit prices are public: a glass-roof patio cover of 5 x 3 metres costs € 3,363.69, 6 x 3 metres € 3,966.74, 6 x 4 metres € 4,857.77 and 7 x 4 metres € 5,432.19, including VAT. The installation price depends on the size, the ground and the distance from Veldhoven. You will see the exact amount in the 3D configurator as soon as you tick installation, before you commit to anything. That way you can compare fairly: many suppliers only show a bare self-assembly kit price and leave the installation costs until the quote.

Our self-assembly kits are designed for DIY installation: the rubber seals are already fitted in the rafters, the rafters are pre-cut, the LED lighting is built in and connected, and the gutter and wall plate are cut to size. How long does it take to install a patio cover?
An average wall-mounted patio cover is installed in one working day. Larger sizes or a freestanding version can take one and a half to two days. We will let you know the schedule in advance.
Do I need to prepare anything myself?
No. Just make sure the area is accessible and clear of furniture. We take care of the anchoring, the assembly and removing the packaging.
Can you install on an existing patio or paving?
Yes. We anchor onto tiles or concrete, or directly into the ground using a foundation sleeve. When we measure up, we assess the ground and tell you what is needed.
Do I get a guarantee on the installation?
Yes, the ten-year guarantee covers both the structure and the installation. There is one point of contact for both: us.
