A patio cover is an aluminium structure attached to your house with a glass or polycarbonate roof. One manufacturer calls it a veranda, another a terrace cover: the difference is in the name, not the construction. How much does a patio cover cost?
The price depends on the size and the roof. A patio cover with a polycarbonate roof starts at around 900 euros (300 x 200 cm, self-assembly kit, incl. VAT). With a glass roof, current configurator prices are as follows:

Glass or polycarbonate roof?

Install it yourself or have it installed
Our patio covers are designed for self-installation. The kit arrives factory-prepared: the rubber seals are already fitted in the rafters, the rafters are pre-cut, the LED lighting is built in and connected, the gutter and wall plate are cut to size, and screws in the matching colour and wall plugs are included. Do I need planning permission?
Usually not: a patio cover at the back of your house often falls under permit-free building. The main rules and exceptions are explained in patio covers and planning permission.
